Hi! I write about gender and power at the intersections of culture and politics. I’m currently a staff writer at Jezebel and have previously worked on staff at Salon’s culture desk. My work focuses on reproductive rights & justice, pregnancy & criminalization, and gender-based violence & the legal system.

I’m also the author of Survivor Injustice: State-Sanctioned Abuse, Domestic Violence, and the Fight for Bodily Autonomy, which Kirkus called “an astonishingly original, powerfully honest vision for true survivor justice” in a starred review. Learn more about the book here.
